If you are tired of getting notifications from a person and you don’t want him to disturb you. You can do following thing to mute notifications from that individual person…
1. First of all launch the Messaging application from your iOS device.
2. Now Scroll down if needed and find out the person you want to mute Once you have found the person Tap on it to open chatting page. It can be an chatting with individual person or can be a group chat.
3. Now on the Upper right of the page there would be a Details button Tap on it.
4. On the Bottom of the page there will be options for Do Not Disturb . Toggle it to turn it on.

5. Now you would see that the person you have muted a small sign will be appeared with that specified person like this.

Group messaging system was first time introduced by the apple in the iOS 7. To help its users to chat with the contact in groups contrary to individual chats. This new feature of apple was pretty interesting but does have some drawbacks and users were reporting its drawback that it does not provide options to leave group chat. In iOS 8 version its problem has been removed now the users have the options to leave group chat which they don’t want.
How To Leave The Conversation On iOS Device?
1. Launch the Message application on your iPhone Or iPad.
2. Now Scroll Down the page if required and find out the Group you want to leave and Tap on it to open it.
3. Now on the Upper Right of the page there would be option for Details . Tap on it.
4. Now on the page you would see Leave This Conversation on the bottom of the page and Toggle it.
