Dreamboard is a great customization tool just like winterboard for the iphone. Unfortunately when ios 7 came, dreamboard update stopped and it started crashing because dreamboard was not optimized for iphone on ios7 and above.
But now you can install dreamboard on your iDevice running ios 7 or ios 8 easily .
Dreamboard is like winterboard but it does more. What dreamboard does is that it changes the whole UI of your ios device. It can make your iphone look and operate like windows phone, android, nokia phone. Dreamboard themes are free and are availbale on cydia. You can install dreamboard themes just like you install winterboard theme.
How To Install Dreamboard On ios7/ios8
Remember that dreamboard requires jailbreak and cydia to run and to be installed . SO first jailbreak your iDevice if you’re on ios8 (Click Here) or if you’re on ios7 (Click Here).
Now Follow these simple stepls to install Dreamboard for ios7/ios8 from cydia.
GoTo your Cydia App.
Now goto Search and type in Dreamboard. The results will come in as you type. e.g see the picture below.
Now goto the dreamboard that is the latest version, i.e as shown in the picture above. Dont worry about the green Tick , it means that i have already installed dreamboard.
Now tap the dreamboard icon and it will open a new tab.
Now install that winterboard app from cydia. Dont worry about compatibility. If the one you chose is not compatible then cydia wont install it. Just go back and select the other one which would be compatible for your iphone.
Now tap on Install & Confirm. This will start installing your dreamboard app on your ios7 or ios8.
Once your apo is installed,cydia will ask you to repsring your device.Respring your device.
Now scroll through the homescreen . You will see a dreamboard app among your other apps.
The theme im using is the ios6 Complete for ios7/8 .Thats why its looking like ios 6. But its really ios 7 im using. See the notification bar battery above.
Now tap that dreamboard icon and open your dreamboard app.Congratulations, you have successfully installed your Dreamboard on your ios7 / ios8 iDevice.
