What do you do when you buy an iphone ? Insert the sim and get all of your important contact information to your new iphone i.e import sim contacts to your new iphone. But for new iphone users like i was when i bought my iphone, is a problem that unlike android, sim contacts do not appear in the contacts by default. There are many methods of doing this but all are outdated or made for ios 6 which are totally different from ios 7 and ios 8. Now the newer iphones come with ios 8 installed. In this howto short guide im going to show you how to import sim contacts on ios 8.This does not require a jailbreak nor does it require cydia. This will only take 2 minuites of your precious time to get you up and running on ios 8 and import sim contacts on ios 8.
Steps to Import Sim Contacts on iOS 8
Now insert your sim into your new iphone with ios 7/ios 8 and follow me to Import Sim Contacts on iOS 8 easily in 2 minuites.
Step 1 :
Insert your sim, power on your iphone, unlock it and goto settings.
Step 2 :
Scroll down in the settings area untill you see Mail, Contacts, Calendars , Tap and open that. This will contain the settings to Import Sim Contacts on iOS 8.
Step 3 :
In Settings –> Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Scroll down and you will see box entitled Import Sim Contacts. 
Step 4:

Other Setting :
By default the display order is not right on the contacts menu. So goto your settings, mail, contantc, calendars and scroll down. Change the display order and sort order to First, Last for both. This will display and sort out your contacts correctly.
