How To Install WatchOS 2 Beta Version On your Apple Watch.



During the WWDC ( Worldwide Developers Conference ) 2015 on June 8 along with the iOS 9 for iPhone and iPad they have also released the first upgrade to the apple watch OS 2 beta for developers only and it’ll be available for the public later this year.


Obviously this upgrade of the apple watch would be having more features and application as compared to the previous version. Apple have made reasonable progress in developing its new iOS , OS X , WatchOS upgrades. And the downloads are available for all the platforms smartphones , iPad , Watches.

The Beta version of apple watch upgrade is available only for developer and If you are developer you can download and install Beta 1 on you apple watch and enjoy Watch OS 2 Beta version.

How To Install WatchOS 2 Beta Version On Your Apple Watch.

If you are a developer and want to upgrade you apple watch on the latest version WatchOS 2 Beta. Follow these steps.

Step 1.

First of all you have to Unpair your Apple Watch From your iPhone or reset you apple watch’s setting this will get thing go smoother.

You can do any one of them UnPair Or Reset Setting.

If you want to Reset your apple watch follow these steps. Launch Setting app from your Apple Watch Now > Tap On General > Tap On Reset > Tap On Erase All Content And Data . If you have an active passcode it will ask you for the passcode write it and reset would start.

And if you want to Unpair your Apple Watch From Your iPhone you have to follow these steps you can do it using your iPhone.

Launch My Watch App > Now Tap On Apple Watch > Tap On Unpair Apple Watch. This will unpair apple watch from iDevice.

Step 2.

Once you have successfully Unpair or Reset you Apple watch. Now you have to Download And Install iOS 9 Beta On your iPhone using your developer Account.

Register Your iPhone:

If you have not previously registered your iDevice via Apple Developers Portal then you have to follow these steps to register it.

1. Download And Install iOS 9 SDK ( Xcode 7 Beta ) via Apple Developers Portal.

2. Now Connect your iPhone with your Mac. And Launch Xcode 7 Beta.

3. Now Click on Window > Open Organizer.

4. Now you need have to Copy the 40 Character UDID in the Identifier Field.

5. Now you have to Sign In to Certificates, Identifiers And Profiles using you own Apple ID and Password.

6. Firstly enter the Name of you device and Secondly enter that 40 Characters UDID that you have copied from the identifier field.

7. Click on the Continue to confirm and now you have successfully registered your Device in the Apple Developers Portal.
Install The WatchOS 2 Beta On Apple Watch.

Now after you have Registered your Device on the Apple Developers Portal you can proceed further.

Step 1.

You have to Pair up your Apple Watch with your iPhone. For this purpose do the same steps as i have mentioned above. Once your watch is paired up with iPhone make sure that the iPhone is Connected to Wi-Fi Connection and and Apple watch should be in the Range of your iPhone.

Step 2.

Ensure that your Apple watch should be 80 % charged before starting the upgrade and if its not please charge it to 80 %  and then start the upgrade.

Step 3.

Now Download The Watch OS Beta 2 files to your iPhone via Apple Developers Portal.

Step 4.

Launch the Profile > Select Apple Watch as install location and Restart the device if asked.

Step 5.

Now follow this. Launch My Watch App using iPhone > General > Software Update. You will asked for an passcode if you have an active one.

Step 6.

Now the Upgrade process will Start wait for some time while the Progress bar fill completely.

Once the Upgrade is completely done your Apple Watch will Reboot and when it restarts your device will be on Watch OS 2 Beta.
